Today Liftrac is currently looking for a sales representative to strengthen its team. you will collaborate with each department to create and deploy disruptive products. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve business relationships with current customers
  • Determine potential customers and solicit them
  • Evaluate customer needs and resources, recommend and assist in the selection of appropriate goods and services, and negotiate prices or other terms of sale
  • Provide input for product design when goods and services need to be tailored to customer needs
  • Evaluate the maintenance costs of the equipment or service
  • Draft and administer sales contracts and maintain a customer register
  • Communicate with customers, after the sale, to resolve issues and follow up
  • Assist in troubleshooting technical issues with customer hardware
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of products and services in order to explain their characteristics to customers and answer their questions
  • Develop, implement and monitor sales strategies to achieve business objectives
  • Analyze market conditions and competitor activities and stay abreast of emerging markets and trends
  • Can provide training in the use and maintenance of equipment
  • May supervise the work of other sales specialists and members of technical staff

Qualification

  • A university or college diploma in a field related to the product or service is usually required
  • At least 2 years of experience in the sale of industrial machinery 
  • Knowledge of English is an asset
  • A driver's license and good driving record may be required

Skills

  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Bilingual French and English is an asset
  • Knowledge of construction equipment is required
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners and internal stakeholders
  • Proactive, results-oriented and motivated individual with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
